The Leak Stop Gun is an autonomous and complete system for rapid initial sealing of leaks. It is based on a mechanical, pressure-based sealing technology. By actuating the trigger lever, the sealing ball is propelled out of the barrel by means of CO₂ and can thus seal the existing leakage. The LSG is a pioneering solution for maritime, industrial and official applications.

The LSG is designed as a universal system for almost all types of liquid and gas leaks. Whether on tanks, pipes, hoses or containers – the system effectively seals leaks both in unpressurized environments and under pressure. Thanks to modular system variants and optional extensions, the LSG is impressive even under extreme conditions: It seals leaks in hard-to-reach places just as reliably as in underwater applications.

Yes, the LSG 150 and LSG S can be used under water. Both systems have been tested to a depth of 20 meters. In the salvage and wreckage industry, the system can also be used at greater water depths, in which case the sealing balloons are additionally equipped with pressure relief valves.

The LSG is designed with a balloon made of EPDM elastomers and a protective fabric jacket. In this way, the balloon adapts to any damaged area by applying pressure. The material is mechanically and chemically resistant.

Yes, the Leak Stop Gun as a device is reusable. The guarantee / warranty on the device is 24 months. The balloons can be used again and again for training purposes. For safety reasons, only a new, unused sealing balloon may be used for each real application.

The LSG should be visually inspected and cleaned after each use. For frequent use, please grease all moving parts (piston rod, trigger lever, safety lever). If the LSG is not used, an annual visual and functional inspection is sufficient. The LSG is always equipped with a new sealing balloon and a full CO₂ pressure tank for the next use.

Yes, the CO₂ pressure containers can be refilled with food-grade CO₂ by your local dealer. If required, the CO₂ pressure containers can also be ordered directly from Leak Stop Gun GmbH.

Yes, technically this is possible. However, operation in ATEX zones is then no longer permitted. Other disadvantages with air pressure are the sharp drop in pressure, as air is difficult to compress, and the number of balloons to be inflated drops rapidly.
