The Leak Stop Gun S is small, compact and flexible in use. It is perfect for leaks with low water pressure. The LSG S is equipped with the LSG 150 balloon as standard and the LSG 400 balloon can also be used in combination with the Flextube system. Thanks to its compact design, it requires little storage space. The LSG S can be used under water and has been tested at a depth of 20 m.

The LSG 400 is used to seal leaks with a diameter of approx. 120 – 350 mm. It is designed to withstand the pressure corresponding to a water column of 6-7 m.

The sealing balloon P is a special model and is only compatible with the LSG 150 and LSG S via the FlexTube system. The diameter, length and number of outer fabric layers of these sealing balloons are manufactured according to customer requirements. Only new, unused sealing balloons may be used for real applications.

Freisteller CO2-Druckbehälter

CO₂ pressure vessel

A CO₂ is required for each appliance. In emergencies, the pressure containers can be refilled with food-grade CO₂ by your local dealer. Filling with compressed air is also possible, please note that the achievable pressure and the frequency with which the balloon can be inflated and correctly positioned in the leakage point will be reduced. It is also not suitable for use in ATEX areas.

FlexTube enables the LSG 150 and LSG S to be used in areas that are difficult to access. Thanks to the FlexTube system, both sealing balloons 400 and 150 can be attached to the LSG 150 and LSG S using an adapter.

The Leak Stop Gun is an autonomous and complete system for rapid initial sealing of leaks. It is based on a mechanical, pressure-based sealing technology. By actuating the trigger lever, the sealing ball is propelled out of the barrel by means of CO₂ and can thus seal the existing leakage. The LSG is a pioneering solution for maritime, industrial and official applications.

Yes, the LSG 150 and LSG S can be used under water. Both systems have been tested to a depth of 20 meters. In the salvage and wreckage industry, the system can also be used at greater water depths, in which case the sealing balloons are additionally equipped with pressure relief valves.

The LSG is designed with a balloon made of EPDM elastomers and a protective fabric jacket. In this way, the balloon adapts to any damaged area by applying pressure. The material is mechanically and chemically resistant.

Yes, the Leak Stop Gun as a device is reusable. The guarantee / warranty on the device is 24 months. The balloons can be used again and again for training purposes. For safety reasons, only a new, unused sealing balloon may be used for each real application.

The LSG should be visually inspected and cleaned after each use. For frequent use, please grease all moving parts (piston rod, trigger lever, safety lever). If the LSG is not used, an annual visual and functional inspection is sufficient. The LSG is always equipped with a new sealing balloon and a full CO₂ pressure tank for the next use.

Yes, the CO₂ pressure containers can be refilled with food-grade CO₂ by your local dealer. If required, the CO₂ pressure containers can also be ordered directly from Leak Stop Gun GmbH.

Yes, technically this is possible. However, operation in ATEX zones is then no longer permitted. Other disadvantages with air pressure are the sharp drop in pressure, as air is difficult to compress, and the number of balloons to be inflated drops rapidly.
