The roots of our company lie in Rhede. It was here that I, Bernd-Josef Wenning, managed Wenning Biogas GmbH & Co. KG – an agricultural business that I have developed over the years into a modern energy company with biomethane production.
The birth of the Leak Stop Gun was marked by a formative event: two million liters of liquid manure escaped uncontrollably from a tank in an agricultural facility due to a massive leak. Neither the fire department nor specialized rescue teams had the right tools to seal the leak in time and prevent the impending environmental catastrophe. Witnessing this moment was the impetus for the development of the Leak Stop Gun. My goal was clearly defined right from the start: To create a technology that helps where seconds count. A system that seals leaks immediately, reliably and without complicated preparation – to protect people, the environment and property.
