FAQ

The Leak Stop Gun is an autonomous and complete system for rapid initial sealing of leaks. It is based on a mechanical, pressure-based sealing technology. By actuating the trigger, the sealing ball is propelled out of the barrel by means of CO2 and can thus seal the existing leakage. Firefighters can deploy them in seconds, even in the event of pressurized leaks or in confined spaces.

Yes, the LSG is resistant to many chemicals and hazardous substances and is ideal for use by fire departments and hazardous goods. We will be happy to send you a detailed resistance list on request.

The LSG is ready for use in seconds after removing the protective cap and releasing the safety lever. We recommend a short briefing, but basically the handling is very simple and can be used by any firefighter.

The Leak Stop Gun is a special tool and we recommend training. An application video and operating instructions are also available.

The LSG is designed with a balloon made of EPDM elastomers and a protective fabric jacket. In this way, the balloon adapts to any damaged area by applying pressure. The material is mechanically and chemically resistant.

The LSG should be visually inspected and cleaned after each use. For frequent use, please grease all moving parts (piston rod, trigger lever, safety lever). If the LSG is not used, an annual visual and functional inspection is sufficient. The LSG is always equipped with a new sealing balloon and a fullCO2 pressure tank for the next deployment
