In a maritime environment, leaks in the hull, pipes or through-holes can lead to safety-critical situations within a very short space of time. Particularly in the event of heavy water ingress, limited access or pressure loads, rapid, controlled sealing is crucial for the integrity of the ship and the safety of the crew.

The Leak Stop Gun (LSG) was specially developed for this purpose. The CO₂-based system activates a sealing balloon that adapts positively to uneven or damaged surfaces in seconds – reliably even with a strong flow of water and in water depths of up to 20 m. This allows leaks in hull areas, sea valves, cooling water or hydraulic lines to be sealed quickly and safely on a temporary basis.

Thanks to its compact design, the LSG can be easily integrated into existing damage control equipment and offers naval vessels, coast guards and technical crews an immediately deployable emergency solution.

Yes, the LSG 150 and LSG S can be used under water. Both systems have been tested to a depth of 20 meters. In the salvage and wreckage industry, the system can also be used at greater water depths, in which case the sealing balloons are additionally equipped with pressure relief valves.

The Leak Stop Gun is an autonomous and complete system for the rapid initial sealing of leaks. It is immediately ready for use and can seal a leak in just a few seconds.

The Leak Stop Gun is a special tool and we recommend training. An application video and operating instructions are also available. Nevertheless, it is easy to operate and could be used by any crew member on naval vessels.

Yes, the Leak Stop Gun as a device is reusable. The guarantee / warranty on the device is 24 months. The balloons can be used again and again for training purposes. For safety reasons, only a new, unused sealing balloon may be used for each real application.

The LSG should be visually inspected and cleaned after each use. For frequent use, please grease all moving parts (piston rod, trigger lever, safety lever). If the LSG is not used, an annual visual and functional inspection is sufficient. The LSG is always equipped with a new sealing balloon and a full CO₂ pressure tank for the next deployment
